Thank god it’s Monday

(Yes, I am aware that today is Tuesday.) Most people celebrate it being Friday or the weekend. Me? I’m all about Mondays. Monday is the start of the week, and it’s the day when most of my leads for freelance work and product reviews come rolling in. Monday is also often payday from two of my clients, since I tend to do most of the work they send me over the weekend. So with that said, bring on Mondays! And Tuesdays!

Right now I’m at Panera Bread, which I love coming to on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, because they’re absolutely dead. There’s a guy behind me, three women sitting at a table across from me, and maybe two or three other people in the entire restaurant. I’m currently nibbling at an asiago breakfast sandwich that has egg and cheese in it. I’m all about the protein, baby. I’ve been finding more hair in my hair brush and in the bathtub drain, so I’m going to correctly assume that surgery + hormonal changes/rapid weight loss + inadequate protein = hair loss. You’d never know it to look at me, however. I have always been blessed/cursed with very thick and somewhat coarse hair. So thick and coarse that I routinely destroy hair bands (even the larger, thicker ones that I buy), semi-regularly rip up hair brushes, and need special clips that are designed for thick amounts of hair.

So yes, I’m nibbling at breakfast. I also have a cheese danish that I’ll take home and put aside for a later meal. The bread in it and the breakfast sandwich doesn’t interest me, but I’m pretty sure Panera Bread can’t make bread-less sandwiches and pastries, so I make do.

Thank you for the feedback on my last blog entry! So the consensus seems to be to keep on doing what I’m doing, haha. I know that my blog is all about me and thus for me, but it’s still nice to have some direction to take with writing at times, particularly if I can present aspects of my life that seem more interesting to you guys. :)

  1. I really should start walking down to Panera (bout a mile) with my laptop and do stuff there. Right now it’s just not feasible cause of the money issue but once I get some work I’ll have to try it out. Breakfast at Panera three times a week sounds nice.

I LOVE Panera! All of their food is so great! At home there aren’t any around, but now that I’m down here in York there’s one less than 5 miles from my house. Some day I’ll walk down, but for now I’m being lazy and driving.

  3. Lucky you! I have thin hair though I thought for sure when I was in elementary school my hair was thicker. Either I am remembering wrong or I just have lost a lot of hair. Ugh, I hate thin hair.
