A little bit ago Damita mentioned Spending Diary, a website where you can register (for free!) and log all of your purchases. I didn’t realize it until today (because I’m slow like that), but Spending Diary was exactly what I was looking for. Dan and I can easily keep track of income with PayPal (my income) and our bank account (his income), but we weren’t so good at keeping track of all of the money we spend every month. We had a good idea of bills, obviously, but what about groceries? Gas? Household essentials? Pet food? This year is all about being more conservative with money, so we made a mutual goal to keep track of every single dollar we spend. Spending Diary is perfect for the task, and I am absolutely loving it so far! What I’m not loving is the amount of money we’ve spent so far this month. Holy crap!

Doesn’t your bank keep track of all that for you? We can log onto at any time and see all of our charges.
HAHA! Didn’t mean to make that private.

Oh this is a great find beginning of the year! I am going to sign up as well. Being a single mother, managing finances can sometimes be a struggle for me. I am excited to see if I can manage anything better with the help of this website.
You also turned me onto bedposted.com! I absolutely love that, and keeping a “sex diary”! I feel like it’s kind of a challenge. -shrugs- I am sure it’s also cool to look back at how many times in one year you’ve done it. LOL.
Does the site track how much you’ve spent yearly? And all that jazz?
Thats an awesome website!!! Thanks for sharing Jenn!
Thanks for sharing!! This is awesome, and definitely a very helpful website.
Sometimes I’ve had troubles myself with keeping track of all of the money we ( my ex and I ) spent every month but I was able to manage it by having everything written in Excel document that was calculating everything for me very nicely.
