The lovely Eden Fantasys set me up with another product review. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, I opted for something green (for the record, there’s not a single drop of Irish in me). The Climax gems margarita bubbly is a “traditional” vibrator, though when I think of traditional vibrators, something made out of jelly material and covered in nubs isn’t the type of image to come to mind. But in any case, the Climax gems margarita bubbly, here on out referred to simply as Margarita, is most definitely a vibrator. She’s made out of jelly material (which plays nicely with water-based lubricants), and offers 4″ insertable length and a nice 1 3/4″ diameter. She’s also waterproof and designed to be discreetly quiet, so you can get creative with your sex play.
As far as vibrators go, I’ll be honest and admit that in my opinion, Margarita ranks a little lower on the totem pole than some of the other toys I’ve used. It has one of those smaller bullet style vibrators, which tends to create a fast, almost “high pitched” buzz that reminds me of a gnat (and I’m all about vibrations that resemble jack hammers, thank you very much). The vibrator inside the Margarita is no exception. A handy ridged dial located at the bottom of the vibrator, on the end of the twist-off cap that houses the single AA battery that powers the Margarita, makes it easy for you to turn on the vibrator and adjust the speed to your liking.
As I explained in my video (see below), I was able to have an orgasm with the Margarita every single time I used it, but I had to work a little harder at it. When I’m having sex with my husband and we’re frolicking around in bed, I don’t mind taking a bit more time to reach the big O. But when I’m on my own and I simply want to get off and then get on with my day, I need something a little more powerful.
But on the flip side, Margarita’s vibration style provides ample time to build up and enjoy the sensations, which can ultimately lead to a stronger, longer lasting, and more pleasurable orgasm.
Margarita is predominantly designed to provide clitoral stimulation, but the decent length and girth are too appealing to pass up. The entire vibrator is covered with rounded nubs, which definitely enhance the experience. The shaft is also very flexible, and it’s easy to angle it forward for some g-spot stimulation (with or without vibrations; the thrusting motion of the Margarita is pleasurable enough on its own!).
Overall, despite having to put a little more effort into having an orgasm, I really do like the Margarita. The vibrations are strong enough for some added excitement during sex, and on their own they can be enough, if you’re like me and require a little more horsepower packed into your toys. Her smaller size makes her easy to store and transport, so if you’re on the road a lot or simple like to keep a toy in your bag “just in case”, Margarita can certainly meet your needs!

The quiet factor is good but I definitely agree on needing more “deep” vibrations rather than just fast paced ones.
