Dan was done work today at 5, so he came home with dinner (KFC/LJS, *nom nom nom*), and after we ate we went out to play! Alyssa and Ryan ran around with some kids in our neighborhood while Dan and I rode around on our bicycles. Alyssa rode hers around a bit too, while Ryan chose her scooter over his own bike. I put Leah on the run in our front yard, and she proceeded to bark her head off until we were out of sight — and would then start up again when we circled back around. *eyeroll*
Right now I’m getting a few blog entries on mens jewelry and other things out of the way while I take a break from work. AIM, Skype, and Twhirl are currently pissing me the hell off, as they keep freezing up on my laptop. This happened before I reformatted, and now that it’s happening again, I know it has nothing to do with laptop issues and everything to do with AIM, or Skype, or Twhirl. Skype freezes up the most, and when it does work it’s only half-ass with sending out messages and letting me receive them. Not cool for work, not cool.
Twhirl is second on the list, with AIM coming in the last. What the hell? Is it so hard to expect programs to work?
Have I mentioned that I am in absolute love with the trio of professional makeup brushes that Hollywood Brushes sent me to try out? Applying makeup is so much easier, and the results look SO much better without the repeated applications and touch-ups I’ve had to do in the past. It’s about time that I have a kick-ass set of brushes to go along with my kick-ass collection of makeup! Psst… you can read my full review on the makeup brushes over at In My Bag.
Also on the list of things to review: kids clothes from naartijie.com, lingerie from Oh Cheri and DreamBox Learning. I also have the Fairy Wand Massager to get a review done up for. Whew… between birthday parties to run the kids to tomorrow, product reviews and work, it’s going to be a very busy weekend!

Hmmm, I wonder what the problem is with AIM & Skype. I don’t have Twhirl, but I do have AIM & Skype and haven’t had any problems with mine.
That’s just weird.
That’s awesome that you’ve been out riding your bike.
(I don’t have one and I haven’t ridden one in years.)
Hope you get everything done easily so it’s busy but not stressful
I prefer TweetDeck to Twhirl. I like the interface much better and since I only use it for Twitter & Facebook it works very nicely (plus I’m now using it for multiple Twitter acounts). As for AIM it has always been a P.O.S. so I use either Adium (on Mac) or Trillian (on PC) which is necessary since I have a bajillion screen names and messengers but I’d use it just for AIM replacement too. I’ve never had issues with Skype so it’s probably a combo problem.
Try out some different solutions and see if it still acts up?
I use Skype on a daily basis and its never given me any problems. Aim works great for me, too.
