Soggy is definitely the right term to use to describe today. It’s been raining off and on since yesterday evening, so the kids and I stayed indoors today. I thought they would go kind of stir-crazy, but I guess being outside every single day last week and yesterday’s round of birthday parties (Alyssa and Ryan were invited to separate birthday parties yesterday) calmed them down today.
As for me, I’ve spent a good chunk of the day on work. Right now I’m finishing up dinner, which consists of a herb-crusted sirloin tip roast, butter & garlic rice (made in a super awesome rice cooker), and broccoli & carrots. Anyone hungry?

Yeah, it’s been raining here all day as well, big surprise right? It’s been a pretty dry spring so far though so we can’t complain too much.
Its been raining off and on. Hoping it culminates in a good storm this evening so my husband’s soccer game tomorrow won’t be canceled.
We’ve had a constant drizzle here for three days, nothing really major though. Just enough to annoy you!
