In excess of.

One thing I can guarantee is that most of my self-portraits or pictures of me in short sleeves will look something like this:

If I happen to be caught off guard or forget to put my arms down, you’ll be treated to this:

Blech. I hope that the massive amounts of swimming I plan on doing this summer will help to tone things up, but I’m not holding my breath. Just as I try to follow the “Hope for the best, plan for the worst” mantra, I’m already preparing myself for the very strong possibility of bingo flap reduction surgery in the next 2-3 years.

Anyway, I’d write more, but we’re meeting my mom and brothers for bowling in an hour and a half, and I still need a shower and the kids need a bath, so I’ll talk to you later!

  1. Maybe also try and do some weight lifting with your arms. That can be of great help too.

  2. I agree w/ Chantal – weight lifting/strength training can do wonders for that. In fact, it’s one of the reasons when I did eDiets that they insisted on toning/strength training along with all the walking – so that my arms would get toned up. :) As the muscles get bigger, they’ll help fill out that skin. :)
