Alyssa and Ryan are at a local vacation bible school program. It’s five days long (tomorrow is the last day), and a school bus picks up the kids at 6:40pm, and drops them back off around 9:00pm. The quiet here is amazing. I deliberately cleaned my carpets with my brand new carpet cleaner earlier this evening, so that once the kids were out of the house I could just kick back and relax work. Speaking of which, the Bissell ProHeat 2X Deep Cleaner is freaking awesome. I can’t believe how fabulous my carpets look. Whoo!
I feel so drained right now, to tell you the truth, and in the mood for anything but work. I’m feeling sluggish and sleepy and drained, and would love nothing more than to go to bed. Oh well. There’s work to be done first!

If we weren’t hoping to move to a place that has hard wood floors I think I’d be wanting a carpet cleaner so bad. Thank goodness our carpet is dark brown though. haha
aww i always wanted to go to vacation bible school when i was younger but for some reason never did. i think its cute it is in the evening as well for some reason
this apartment has the most horrid carpet you have ever saw in your life. and i think the cat could have put it down better. honestly I need to take pics. we have pieces at the doorway that totally come up lol.
really makes me wish theyd re do it …oh and while they are at it, the tile in the kitchen..oooh. lol
i miss my hardwood floors at the other apartment

Yay for you getting some extra few hours of quietness each day even though its short lived.
I should get my carpet cleaned. Our rental company gives you a free cleaning every year.
