Disclaimer: this is a review of a sex accessory.
In my quest to find a way to have an orgasm a little faster than it takes molasses to roll uphill, I recently picked up System JO clitoral gel from Eden Fantasys. I understand that my ability to get thoroughly aroused and nearly there but not actually get off without a lot of effort, willpower and time is most likely hormonally related, but that doesn’t mean I won’t see if there are any quick, non-hormonal fixes* that help me speed things along just a bit. Long gone are the days of orgasms within 1-3 minutes, or ten at most. Now? I’d love to have an orgasm in under ten minutes.
But I digress.
So, the System JO clitoral gel. It’s a clear gel that is designed to provide warming and tingling sensations to the clitoris, obviously. Its ingredients are safe for play with sex toys and condoms. The primary ingredient that jumped out at me is peppermint — this is where the purported warming and tingling sensations come from.
I have used System JO clitoral gel a few times now, and I’m sad to report that it didn’t do much for me. The warming and tingling sensations kicked in about ten minutes after application (the instructions say that it should kick in 3-5 minutes after application), and while they felt pleasurable, they weren’t enough to manipulate the hands of time for yours truly.
Also, it’s worth noting that the clitoral gel’s effects can last up to 45 minutes after application, and in my case, they do! But since I’m no longer turned on or even thinking about sex, the warming and tingling sensations feel more like that subtle burn you feel right before getting hit with a yeast infection (sorry for the TMI).
Overall, System JO clitoral gel isn’t a bad product, but it isn’t one that will produce fireworks either.
* Hormonal fixes would only be a temporary solution, seeing as how I’m continuing to lose weight. My best bet is to ride it out.
