Edward, you better be worth this

I saw Twilight on the opening night, and I had plans to see New Moon on the night it opened, but then I had my gastric bypass surgery that morning. So come hell or high water I am seeing Eclipse on opening night. Only… I first thought about buying tickets when it was too early to buy them, and didn’t remember again until when all of the 11:59pm and 12:01am showings both here and 40 miles away at an IMAX theater were sold out. Oopsies. So my friend and I are going to see the 3:00am showing instead! Yes, 3:00am is brutal, but it’s going to be oh-so-worth it.

I’m planning on taking a nap in a little bit, then getting up around 8:00pm to take a shower. Then I’m going to pick up my friend, we’re going to come back here and watch New Moon, and will then leave around 12:45am in order to get to the theater by 2:00am and get decent seats.

I wish I could say I’ll be able to go to sleep when I get home tomorrow morning, but alas, that is not the case. I’m taking Leah to be spayed (yes, I waited until she was older, I’ve heard stories of smaller dogs not doing well under anesthesia and in surgery) tomorrow morning at 7:00am, and then I’ll get back home just in time to start work. I wish I could say I’ll be able to take a nap tomorrow afternoon, but alas, that won’t be happening either. Since my car is out of operation for the moment (we fixed the alternator belt and then put in a new battery, but the alternator itself died, fucker), I’m going to take Dan to work at 2:00pm, then go back to the vet’s office to pick up Leah. We’ll get home just in time for dinner, after which I’ll be running the kids down the road to VBS. Luckily, there IS a god, in the form of my mother, who will be coming over around 8:00pm, then going down the road to pick up the kids, bring them home, and put them to bed for me. So all I have to do is keep going like the Energizer Bunny until it’s time to drop the kids off at VBS, and then I can collapse for the night. 6:15pm bedtime! Whee!

P.S.

TEAM EDWARD!

  1. I’m afraid to admit but I’m still finishing up my Eclipse book :( Life just gets too busy sometimes. I think I’ll wait at least the end of the first week of showings before I go see Eclipse! I can’t wait, though.

TEAM EDWARD! As much as Taylor is hot….I think Rob Pattinson is even hotter.

  2. Aww, I’m so jelous!
I don’t think it’s out here in the UK for another 10 days maybe?
Blub, my life is incomplete :’(

wow thats determination to see the movie. I can honestly say I havent seen either the 1st or the 2nd in theater. Come to think of it, I’ve only seen the 1st one. lol

  6. I’m super jealous! Let us know how it goes. I have seen the opening of every movie, except this one, because I’m broke :( I didn’t realize how much it would upset me, but I guess I’m a true fangirl. I wore my Team Edward shirt all day yesterday in mourning ;)

    Have fun!

I haven’t seen any of the movies or read any of the books but after seeing the Eclipse trailer, I’m thinking of seeing the first movie.
