I have come to love the feel of silicone. Silicone is a safe, body-friendly material that warms up quickly, is soft and smooth to the touch, and doesn’t break down if it comes into contact with similar materials (unlike jelly, which will melt if it comes into contact or even shares close quarters with another jelly product. The Ophoria Bliss 1 is five inches in length and about 1.5″ around — not enough for adequate penetration, but plenty for direct clit stimulation and general vulva and labia stimulation. The Ophoria Bliss 1 offers 9 different stimulation modes, with the first three being direct vibrations that increase in intensity with each mode switch. The other modes are variations of pulsations and “roller coaster” style vibrations. The modes are cycled through via a simple push button that is located on the end and side of the vibrator, and the vibrator is switched off by holding the button in for approximately five seconds.
The Ophoria Bliss 1 Mini Vibrator is shipped in classy, elegant packaging that consists of a sturdy black box that is molded to cradle the vibrator snugly, a velvety drawstring pouch to store the vibrator in when not in use (have I mentioned that silicone attracts lint and hair very easily?), two AAA batteries (I love it when manufacturers include batteries!), and a user manual and warranty information.
The Ophoria Bliss 1 is a strong, dependable vibrator that is definitely going into my bra drawer, which is the drawer I keep all of my favorite sex toys in. Its vibrations are indeed strong, and the different patterns are also quite pleasurable, though not enough on their own to provide me with an orgasm. The silicone coating on the toy and slightly flexible tapered end ensure that I get the stimulation and pressure I need without too much pressure or any discomfort. It also works nicely with water-based lubricants, and its quiet motor (it’s definitely “whisper-quiet”, as advertised by the manufacturer!) means no distractions for me. ;)
