Robby Wash Ball

There are times when I’m curious as to approximately how many loads of laundry I have done since we moved to this house three and a half years ago. Then there are other times, such as in 2008 after all four of us were hit hard and fast with a stomach bug, that I don’t want to think about it. In a given week I will do 4-6 loads of laundry. That’s not bad for a family of four, with a husband who has work and home clothes, a daughter who likes to wear multiple outfits in a day, and a son who takes off socks like it’s the newest fad and won’t wear an article of clothing if it gets a single drop of water on it.

Robby Wash Ball But still. I hate doing laundry. It’s just so tedious, and never ending. And if let go, it can get overwhelming. So believe me, if I can take a shortcut, I will. So when I heard about the Robby Wash Ball, I just had to try it. No, loading laundry detergent and the like isn’t a hard task, but it’s just one more small task on top of a million others, you know? What makes the Robby Wash Ball different from other types of “convenience” laundry products is that it has approximately 30 loads worth of detergent in a single ball. For a lot of us, that’s a month or more of not having to worry about measuring out detergent! The ball itself is made out of plastic and has a soft foam-like ring surrounding it, which helps to cushion it and quiet the bouncing noise it may cause while rolling around inside your washer. During the wash cycle, the detergent, if you want to call it that, is released in the water, where activated macromolecules attack stains and general soiling. The product is hypoallergenic, and a definite green alternative to many of the common laundry detergent products available on the market these days. The Robby Wash Ball is also an economic choice and environmentally-friendly one as well! The ball can be refilled, and can last for several years, so you won’t be contributing as much trash. Best of all, it works in traditional or high-efficiency washers, can be used with hot or cold wash cycles, and is safe for all clothing types.

I had the opportunity to try out the Robby Wash Ball, and I am definitely pleased with how it has cleaned our laundry. It’s virtually scent-less, and there has never been any of the residue or leftover odor that other detergents sometimes leave behind. The lack of scent was a little odd at first, but then again I am a person that is accustomed to trusting a product in part due to being able to detect it by scent. But lack of scent aside, the product works great. I have used the Robby Wash Ball with work clothes, play clothes, bras, delicate items, swimsuits, whites, etc, and every load of laundry has come out clean and bright.

I would definitely recommend the Robby Wash Ball if you love the idea of your laundry tasks becoming a little more simplified and contributing to a greener world by using an environmentally-friendly product; and most importantly, if you’re looking for a product that works. :)

The Robby Wash Ball kit comes with the ball, which is pre-filled with one packet and comes with three additional others, and is available in blue or pink for just $32.95 (that works out to detergent costing just $0.27 per load). Get it here!
