I’m currently at my local Panera Bread, setting up tabs in Notepad++ for an extensive writing project. Once upon a time (read: June 2007 – September 2009) I’d routinely bang out 4000 – 8000 words worth of writing projects five to six days per week. Last fall and into the winter I did a lot of Demand Studios, so the extensive amount of writing on a daily basis was still there. But then a lot of the writing projects stopped coming in, and for the past several months most of my work has been related to product reviews, general blogging, and SEO/SMO stuff.
So it should go without saying that I’m just a little bit rusty in terms of churning out loads of words like a machine, which is why I’m dreading tackling the 8000 word writing project that is currently blinking a cursor at me in Notepad++. But I am lookin forward to the payout from it.

Why Notepad++? Do you like that program? I wrestle with what to write on.
@Patrick D.: It’s like Notepad on crack! My favorite feature about it is the tabs. That’s mainly why I use it, though there are certainly tons of other cool features that are worth checking out.
