No lie. Actually, this post is a little late in coming, because I purchased my very first I’m-going-to-put-this-away-for-Christmas item in March. What can I say? I want to get a head start. Between the number of people we have to buy gifts for and the sheer cost of Christmas, I’m eager to start early and get good deals where I can.
And now that it’s almost August, I’m happy to report that I can scratch both of my brothers off of my Christmas shopping list. I’ve got several items tucked away for both of them, including a club penguin membership package for my youngest brother. He really likes Club Penguin, so much that penguins are now his favorite animal. Cute, huh?
Ryan will probably be the one person we save for last minute Christmas shopping. He’s so finicky and doesn’t play like other kids do, or play with the toys that other kids do, so it’s kind of hard to buy ahead for him! Worse still, Dan and I not only have to figure out what we’re getting him, we also have to come up with ideas to share with my mom, Jason, and Dan’s family, since nobody else ever knows what to get him either. Oy.
