Babeland recently sent me the Babeland Nubby G, which made my day because I am all about the g-spot stimulation. With my ability to orgasm easily still being as elusive as ever, it seems like there are certain things that can expedite the process — and g-spot stimulation combined with clitoral stimulation is one of them. I’m kind of picky about my g-spot toys, however, as a lot of them tend to curve too sharply, or not provide a broad enough shaft for all-over stimulation. The g-spot isn’t exactly a pinpoint area like the clitoris is, you know?
Fortunately, the Babeland Nubby G is all I could want in a g-spot vibrator, and then some. It’s approximately four and a half inches long, with a curve at the end of the shaft that is generous yet defined enough to allow the front of the shaft, which has a nice circumference, to come into direct contact with the entire g-spot area. Near the base of the shaft is a protruding oblong ring that is covered with nubs; it is designed to stimulate both the clitoral area and the perineum/anal area when the toy is rocked around. I’ll come right out and say that stimulation in that area doesn’t do much for me, so I didn’t really bother to rock the toy around in order to experience it. Also, the protruding ring with its nubs does fall short of my clit, but as I’ve mentioned in other reviews, I believe that’s due more to my personal anatomy and not the design of the toy, as I encounter similar issues with just about every “dual purpose” toy I’ve tried (with the exception of rabbit vibrators).
In terms of vibrations, Babeland’s Nubby G certainly packs a punch. It has a powerful bullet vibrator encased inside its TPR shaft, and the speed is controlled via a simple rotary dial located at the base of the toy. The toy is powered by two AA batteries, but the intensity of the vibrations would lead you to believe that it’s running off of a couple of Ds instead.
If you love penetration & g-spot stimulation, you’ll love Babeland’s Nubby G. Its quiet (yes, quiet) yet strong vibrations, ease of use and water resistant qualities make it an ideal toy to have around for solo time.
