The company recently contacted me to see if I would be interested in trying out their new, enhanced version of Aloe Cadabra, which contains Vitamin E and has been specially formulated to feel better and last longer. Aloe Cadabra is a personal lubricant whose primary ingredient is aloe vera. Yes, the same aloe vera that you’d expect to use for dry hands or sunburns. But just as aloe vera is able to sooth and moisturize dry skin on your hands, it can be used for sex as well. In additional to aloe vera, Aloe Cadabra also contains Vitamin E, and is comprised of certified organic ingredients that have the proper pH balance for intimate use.
What I like about Aloe Cadabra is that it feels good. A lot of personal lubricants tend to be sticky, gooey, and gloppy. Dan and I don’t use lubricants very often, except for anal play or occasionally for masturbation, so while we’re not reaching for lubricant every day, we use it enough to have experienced the general stickiness of a lot of lubes. Aloe Cadabra doesn’t have that stickiness. It has the consistency of hand sanitizer, though it is much creamer. Just a small amount, about a dime-sized worth glop, is enough, though of course for certain activities it never hurts to use a bit more.
Aloe Cadabra is available in three scents: natural aloe, French Lavender, and Tahitian Vanilla. I received all three to try, and all three smell pleasant. The scent is enough to be noticeable and recognizable, but not overpowering. Of the three, I’d have to say that Tahitian Vanilla is my favorite. I would definitely recommend this personal lubricant — and I believe I have already mentioned it in a few of my sex toy reviews — for use with any kind of sexual activity. It’s safe, effective, and compatible with all areas of the body, condoms, and toys.
