For reals. In March I started socking away Christmas presents. As of a few weeks ago I’m done shopping for my brothers, and as of now we’re pretty much set for Alyssa’s birthday and Alyssa’s gifts for Christmas. Besides Christmas and birthdays, I’m also thinking about tax season. Bring on those tax refunds! Dan and I have very high withholdings from our checks, because we don’t want to risk having to pay taxes. Also, I have a few small business expenses to write off, so those should add up to a nice little deduction from the balance that I hope we won’t wind up owing.
So… are you planning ahead for the holidays and/or tax season?

I am hoping to start my Christmas shopping in September. I’m usually done a few weeks before Christmas but this year I want to get a jump on it so I won’t be laying down a huge chunk of money at one time on presents.
