Tomorrow Dan and I are making the two and a half hour drive to Jackson, New Jersey, in order to have a date at Six Flags Great Adventure. It’s exactly what we did ten years ago, on August 16th, 2000, for our first date. Of course, there are some differences between then and now. Besides us being ten years older, I’m a good fifty pounds lighter, and we won’t be spending the day with his two brothers and their friend. Instead, it’ll just be the two of us. ♥ Well, the two of us and this, which I don’t know if even the elation of being small enough to ride rides again is enough to get me on it. *shudder*
Right now I’m at Panera Bread, knocking out bits of this work and that, so that when I get home later this evening (I offered to drive my brothers back to their foster families, since my mom is going to watch Alyssa and Ryan for us tomorrow) I will have plenty of time for play. Heh.
I’m back in ONEderland today. 
When I left for BlogHer last week I was 199.2. When I weighed myself on Monday morning I was 204.4 lbs. Definite WTF moment right there. But it was probably just water weight or something, since that number has been going down all week, and today I’m at my lowest yet — 199 lbs. exactly. ♥
I took the kids shopping for new backpacks yesterday. The strap on Ryan’s broke, and Alyssa’s is a little beat from being dragged back and forth to preschool two years in a row. So, new backpacks for both!
P.S. I’m at a weird weight right now. As I mentioned I’m twitter, I’m too small for 95% of the plus size clothes out there, yet I’m also too big for 95% of the regular size clothes out there. Being in-between like this is a real hassle, and makes finding anything from a shirt to a bra to a nice pair of flared jeans a real pain to find!
P.P.S. I’m still semi-sick with a crappy voice. 
I’m pretty sure going from 204 to 119 is a week isn’t healthy ;)
