I can’t remember what life was like without the internet. I use my deals on Directv and Clear internet bundles to get on my home computer, which is fast and reliable. It definitely is a space and time saver. I can’t imagine where I would store much less acquire all of the material that I can access at the click of a mouse or strokes of my fingers if it was in paper form. The wealth of information on the internet not only helps when I need it, but also when my children need it for help with school. We pay our bills online. This helps because we don’t misplace statements. The information is instant and we don’t have to wait days for companies to receive their money.
I save time and money by shopping online. I love online shopping because when the weather is bad or my children are sick I don’t have to drive all over and take them out in it. Online shopping also comes in handy especially at night when I get up with our new baby and can’t go back to sleep. Many times I am able to find much lower prices on items I am looking for online because of competition.
The internet also provides instant communication with friends and family members who are out of town and out of state. Without the internet, I wouldn’t be able to work from home. In our situation, working at home is a supplemental income that is a necessity. On that same note, I am also paid online and can transfer that money to our bank. This saves at least a week if I had to wait for postal mail.
