As an information junkie, it’s hard for me to imagine living without access to the best directv and clear bundles. With satellite internet access, I never have to be out of touch with what is going on in the world. So many aspects of my life are better because of Internet access. It’s easy for me to keep up and make plans with my friends and family, to manage my personal finances, to keep in touch with work, to find out about local and national news, and so many other things.
Before my family and I had internet access, making plans for family occasions was a chore. Coordinating a dozen people with different social commitments and plans to be together even for a few hours was so difficult that family members often got left out because they were difficult to reach. Now, when a birthday or holiday is coming up, I just send out an email to my family mailing list with some ideas for activities and dates. Everyone has a chance to voice their opinion easily during the planning stage, so we can easily put together our plan without a flurry of phone calls to and from each person in the group. Instead of taking a week or two to make final arrangements for Christmas last year, we all made our plans from the comfort of home within a day of emailing each other.
