I am definitely a fan of water-based lubricants. So when the opportunity came up to review Naturals Organic Lubricant from Babeland, I said yes. For those curious, I prefer water-based because there’s no risk of toy incompatibility. Oil- and silicone-based lubes don’t really play nice with silicone and other similarly constructed toys, and wouldn’t you know — most of what I have is made out of silicone.
Anyway, Naturals Organic Lubricant is water-based. Since it’s water-based, it’s safe for sex toys and body use alike. As the name suggests, Naturals Organic Lubricant is naturally based, complete with aloe properties, and absolutely no petroleum chemicals or parabens. Even though it’s “naked”, it does have a light, slightly lemony scent that isn’t unpleasant, but isn’t anything worth writing home about, either.
I’ve had the opportunity to use Naturals Organic Lubricant both on my own and with Dan, and I really like it. I mean really. I usually don’t get overly excited about lubricants, but this one is worth getting excited about. It’s thick without being goopy, goes on smoothly without being runny, and it lasts (even for anal!). Also, a little bit goes a long way, so even though $12 gets you just four ounces, trust me, those four ounces will last!
