The 30 Day Meme: Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect first date.
My idea of the perfect first date and my first date are one and the same. I was so excited I couldn’t sleep (okay, so maybe the lack of sleep part detracted from my first-date-perfectness). Dan was on time, nice, sweet, excited, but shy and a bit uncertain; he was a perfect gentleman, and we had a kick-ass location for our first date: an amusement park! It gave us the opportunity to talk and spend time together, yet “retreat” into the very public atmosphere when he/I needed to take a step back, regroup, regain our footing, etc. Best of all, being together-and-close-yet-not made us comfortable with each other. By the afternoon we were holding hands, and by that evening I felt comfortable enough with him to fall asleep nestled against his chest in the backseat of his car (his brothers and a friend were with us). ♥
