For the things that don’t move, but should

One of my favorite quotes is: There are only two things you need in this world: WD-40, for the things that don’t move but should; and duct tape, for the things that move but shouldn’t.

Like most households, we keep a can of WD-40 and a roll or two of duct tape handy. You just never know when you’re going to need the stuff! A friend of mine actually carries duct tape in his vehicle, which turned out to be quite handy when his car bumper started to fall apart when we were two states away from home.

And just as duct tape is quite useful, so is WD-40. We usually use it for stuck locks or squeaky bicycle wheels or brakes, but there are many other uses for it as well, as these WD-40 videos clearly demonstrate. I’ve watched several WD-40 videos, and I have to say that this one is my favorite (since I can certainly sympathize with crayon artwork in all the wrong places!):

What all have you done with WD-40?
