Losing the vibrator dependency

I have a confession to make. I can count, on one hand, the number of times I have used said hand (or the other) during sex or masturbation over the last two years or so. Due to time constraints and convenience, I have simply been reaching for one vibrator or another — or on occasion, Dan’s mouth, heh — in order to get the job done. And while I have enjoyed the convenience of a quick, guaranteed orgasm from battery-powered stimulation, the knowledge that I was getting further and further away from being familiar and adapted to my own touch to reach the big O was nagging at me. So yesterday, while I had some downtime in our hotel room, I took matters into my own hands (literally!), and shocked the hell out of myself when matters were accomplished in less than ten minutes. Sweet!

And yes, I am not abashed or shy about blogging about 1) the fact that I masturbate and 2) the fact that I masturbated in a hotel room (dear roomie: I always wash my hands!) and 3) the fact that I poured more money than I’d like to admit into Energizer’s bank account over the past several years (I hate to think of the mens jewelry I could have purchased with that money!). People who have known me for a while probably won’t be surprised by the content of this post. And people who are new to Jenn.nu? Get used to it. ;)

To be honest, I’ve NEVER been a fan of using my hand to take care of myself. I’ve always felt a little weird for not using my hands.

I’ve never been able to handle things manually, but I do understand the whole vibration dependency issue. I took a break from the power-house Hitachi so I could do the Lelo Siri review and was amazed at the results and how much easier orgasms via sex were. The things you forget.

    So congratulations on your achievement!
