Since my introduction into the world of high quality adult toys, I have been shamelessly lusting after the We-Vibe II. A product that provides dual clitoral and g-spot stimulation during penetrative (or non-penetrative, if that’s what floats your boat; in which case I ask, “Why bother with something as pricey as the We-Vibe? Just get a rabbit!”) sex? Sign me up!
Well, the cost of the toy ($100+ depending on the retailer) kept me from purchasing the product, but it’s just as well that I held out, because Your Adult Toy Store recently offered it to me for review! It arrived on Friday, September 17th, the same day I left for a weekend trip to Pittsburgh, so I didn’t have much time to do anything more than check it out, take a few photos and plug it in for charging, but I was immediately impressed by its small size and amazing flexibility (flexibility is always a good thing, since every woman’s body is unique!). I was a bit irked at the amount of cat hair and general lint it attracted, but that’s just how the material it’s covered with — silicone — is, so I can’t say I was too surprised. I wiped it clean with a baby wipe and left it to charge while I went away for the weekend.
The We-Vibe II is shaped a bit like an elongated U, with a flat, ripped side that is broad enough to provide adequate and ample g-spot stimulation, and a slightly broader side that is designed to rest against the clitoris and stimulate it. In terms of stimulation, the We-Vibe II, which is rechargeable (I ♥ rechargeable toys!), provides several modes of vibrations, including a a low steady speed, a higher steady speed, and a handful of pulsation/roller coaster/waving vibration modes. There are nine modes altogether. In addition to being rechargeable, the We-Vibe II also has a smart auto-off mode, so if you should fall asleep while basking in the afterglow, your We-Vibe II will shut off too, so there’s no battery drain to worry about.
I was intrigued and interested in how it would be to have both Dan and a toy inside me at the same time. It’s a vagina, not a clown car, you know? But in actuality, using the We-Vibe II at the same time wasn’t bad at all. If it weren’t for the clitoral stimulator end and the vibrations, I probably wouldn’t have even known it was there! The manufacturers were brilliant in their design to make the g-spot end as flat as possible.
As far as insertion, the We-Vibe II went in last and wasn’t that difficult to insert, though it was a little odd feeling to remove. But that could have just been from the after-effects of awesome sex and a few awesome orgasms.
My thoughts on the We-Vibe II? I really like it! While it’s quite small in size, it packs quite a punch in terms of the strength of vibrations. For my anatomy, the g-spot stimulator and clitoral stimulators lined right up (worth mentioning: a lot of “dual” toys don’t quite “reach” my clitoris, so if most of those toys are adequate or even on the longish side for you, the We-Vibe II may be too long!), and the toy didn’t shift around during thrusting, as I thought it might. It was quite enjoyable… just ask Dan how much I enjoyed it. ;)
