Dan’s youngest brother, K, and his girlfriend L, recently moved into their own apartment. This is their first apartment together, so for Christmas this year, I’m sure they’ll be getting home decor and furnishings. I will most likely be “guilty” of getting K and L those types of things. But I don’t want to just get them standard home decorating or kitchen utensil kits from Target or Kohl’s. I’d much rather find them something unique and stylish — but of course useful.
With those “requirements” in mind, I will probably be adding Pier 1 to my holiday shopping list. Pier 1 has always had a lot of amazing selections for home furnishings and decor. And since Dan and I will undoubtedly be hosting Christmas dinner at our house, I’ll probably be shopping at Pier 1 for not only Christmas gifts, but for holiday entertaining products as well. I have a basic red tablecloth, and I think a green one as well, and some cute snowman-themed salt and pepper canisters, but I want to dress things up a bit this year. Pier 1 has some lovely things, in particular this gorgeous tealight tree centerpiece, that would go great with our home decor.
