Christmas is exactly seven weeks away, people. And yes, I am totally counting down this year. I am very excited for Christmas, but more so, I am anxious about making sure we have enough $ to cover everything for Christmas. I started stockpiling gifts for Alyssa and Ryan, and even completed my shopping for my brothers, in the spring and early summer, but that’s only four people. There’s still my parents, a few friends, Dan’s entire family…yeah. Normally we do our Christmas shopping whenever (or worse yet, last minute), but this year I am ALL about planning. This weekend we’re going to draw up a list of who we need to buy for and what we’re getting them, and then we’re going to spend the next seven weeks checking out sales, looking for special promotions, online coupon codes, etc.
In terms of clothes and accessories, I’ll probably hit up Kohl’s with one of the million Kohl’s coupons floating about on the internet and in newspapers. Kohl’s has a lot of cool stuff (no winter coats that appealed to me, unfortunately; I checked their selection a few days ago and I wasn’t impressed), and their prices rock. For more specialty things that require her room coupons or other store-specific coupons or promo codes, I’ll probably just use the internet to find what I need.
