On Black Friday Dan and I went to Kohl’s, and they had a great sale for the one thing Dan and I really wanted to get our best friend Jason for Christmas — a coffee pot. I know, I know, a coffee pot seemingly ranks up there with gift baskets. Don’t get me wrong, gift baskets are nice presents, but not ideal for family and close friends, in my opinion. But this isn’t just any coffee pot. This is the spiffy Keurig coffee pot, the one that uses the K-Cups.

Jason has complained on a few occasions about the quality of the office coffee, and mentioned wanting to get himself a Keurig coffee system. I knew of it from commercials, and from hearing my mom compare it to her current coffee pot, which uses coffee pods. So yes, we were at Kohl’s, and walked by a massive display of the Keurig coffee systems, and they were all on sale! Dan and I compared among the three options, finally made our choice, and happily carted it up to the registers to pay for.
Now my mom is blathering on about wanting one, so since she will undoubtedly buy herself one, I’ll probably shop around for some K-Cups for her — and for Jason. Coffee.org seems like the logical place to start, since they carry coffee in many forms and for many different coffee machines!
