December 5 – Let Go.
What (or whom) did you let go of this year? Why?
I let go of an opportunity, though I’ve since been approaching it in a different manner. I’m being deliberately vague here, I know, but suffice it to say, I made the right decision. I’ve given up on trying to conform, trying to do something I am truly not capable of doing at this time in my life, in order to be what I need to be first and foremost: a mother and a wife. But what I gave up gave me the freedom of time and flexibility, and when it comes to raising two young children and managing a household, those two commodities are priceless. Besides, it’s not as if I gave up franchise lead generation. I simply did some transitioning, and in the end we’re all (I think) happy!
