1.What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?
I had a cholecystectomy on October 12th, 2010.

2.Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I kept some and screwed up on others. But such is life — I’m not beating myself up about it. And yes, I have resolutions for 2011.

3.Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

4.Did anyone close to you die?
No.

5.What countries did you visit?
None.

6.What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
More time.

7.What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 26th, 2010 is pretty damn special, since it’s the day my brothers came home. August 3rd, 2010 is another one — it’s the day I got — and from that point on stayed — under 200 lbs!

8.What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Losing over a hundred pounds.

9.What was your biggest failure?
I’d rather keep this private.

10.Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had pneumonia last February, and let me tell you, that sucked. I had a fever over 102 for four days straight, and then many more days of breathing difficulties and horrible fatigue.

11.What was the best thing you bought?
Best purchase of the year? Hmm. I’m looking around and honestly drawing a blank, because many things I received as gifts, so I didn’t buy them. I suppose I’ll settle for my cellphone, the T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide. It’s such a sexy little phone.

12.Whose behavior merited celebration?
Alyssa — she is continually maturing and exercising her independence and expressing her awesomely artistic side. And Ryan — he is trying so hard to communicate and interact with us.

13.Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My fifteen year old brother’s. I don’t know what has gotten into him, but if he continues on the path he has started, he’ll be a juvenile detention center candidate pretty soon. More appallingly, he acts fine with us — he saves his delinquent streak for my mother.

14.Where did most of your money go?
Bills, where else?

15.What events did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going to an amusement park with Dan in July, going to BlogHer ’10 in August, going to the beach at the end of August, the kids’ birthday parties, and Christmas!

16.What song will always remind you of 2010?
I’d have to say Katy Perry’s California Gurls.

17.Compared to this time last year, are you:
i.happier or sadder? Happier.
ii.thinner or fatter? 80 lbs. thinner.
iii.richer or poorer? Richer, for once!

18.What do you wish you’d done more of?
Sleep.

19.What do you wish you’d done less of?
Stress out.

20.How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent Christmas with my family. ♥

21.Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
Once again, my mother. I don’t really call anyone else!

22.Did you fall in love in 2010?
Just more in love with Dan and the kids.

23. How many one-night stands?
Zero!

24. What was your favorite TV program?
House still has my heart (and loins).

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
I don’t think so.

26. What was the best book you read?
How about books? I love the The Southern Vampire Mysteries.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery or rediscovery?
Maroon 5 and OneRepublic. I love all of their music!

28. What did you want and get?
An iPod with a larger capacity, a garbage disposal, nicer pillows for our bed, more time, a better job.

29. What did you want and not get?
A million bucks. Pfft. Maybe next year?

30. What were your favorite films of this year?
To be honest, I really didn’t watch a lot of movies this year, but Eclipse was pretty awesome.

31.What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I went swimming with my mom and Alyssa and Ryan. I was surprised at the pool with a cake and presents, and later Dan took me to his brother’s house for another party. Everything rocked. :) And I turned 26 (wrong side of 25, ew).

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Getting to my goal weight of 160. I am 25 frustrating pounds shy of that goal. Grrr.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2010?
Colorful. :D

34. What kept you sane?
A schedule. It was a busy one, but it was a schedule, so it kept me on track.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most/least?
I’d still happily bang Robert Pattinson. John Cusack sorta lights my fire as well.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Eh, none in particular that I can think of at this moment.

37. Whom did you miss?
My grandparents.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Did I meet anyone new this year? I seriously can’t remember! Haha.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010:
Good things come to those who wait.

40. Do you have any lost feelings of others.
I’m still at a loss.

41.Quote a song that sums up your year:
I don’t do song quotes.

(I did this in 2009, too!)

I think your answer to 36 could be found in 7 – children and family rights. I should think spending all the time that you do on the internet net neutrality could also be one?
