In August, I had the privilege of attending BlogHer ’10. I was there for work purposes, so 99% of my time was spent working rather than playing, but I did have a bit of time to check out the many booths that had been set up by companies and sponsors. Tempur-Pedic was one of the companies present, and I left their booth with a complimentary All-Purpose Pillow (which I absolutely love, by the way), and an entry into their product review/giveaway contest. And as I’m sure you’ve figured out by now, I was one of the lucky ones selected to review and give away one of their pillows!
The TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow is a standard-sized pillow with a kick. It doesn’t just offer a soft place to lay your head, it offers the head and neck support you need for a full night of restful sleep. It’s appropriate for back, stomach and side sleep, and its TEMPUR-ES material and shapeable micro-cushions flex and adjust to support your head, neck and shoulders. While Tempur-Pedic has many different pillows, the TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow is the only one that is specially designed to mimic the feel of a standard soft pillow. The pillow itself is dust mite and allergen-resistant, and comes with a removable cover that can be washed as needed.
My first impression of the TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow: wow, this thing is heavy! At a hefty 5.5 lbs, this pillow will definitely win you a few pillow fights. But it’s pleasingly heavy, with a soft density that makes you want to do nothing more than lay down and have your head enveloped in its squishy softness. And as you can see from the above picture, it’s significantly larger and more inviting than a standard pillow (that pillow is only six months old, by the way, and has been carefully washed and dried three times since its purchase date). However, it does conform to the dimensions of a standard pillow, though I found that our pillowcases are a rather tight fit on it.
I’ve now been sleeping on the TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow for a week and a half, and I can’t get over how comfortable it feels. More importantly, I can’t get over how well I’m sleeping. I know I sound like a paid actor straight out of a commercial, but I’m completely honest when I say that I have never slept as soundly as I have since switching to the Tempur-CLOUD Pillow. Normally I toss and turn for a good fifteen to twenty minutes before falling asleep, wake up for no reason at 2 or 3 in the morning, toss around some more between 6 and 7, and finally crawl out of bed, feeling restless and not at all well rested, by 8. Since using the TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow, I fall asleep within ten to fifteen minutes, and sleep like the living dead until my alarm goes off or someone wakes me up — whichever comes first. I’ve barely dreamed, I’m in such a deep sleep. And I no longer feel the need to shift and scrunch my pillow around, which of course helps me to fall asleep faster. Needless to say, I have been extremely well rested this last week and a half, and as a result I have had more get-up-and-go in the mornings and have had more energy and stamina to keep me going throughout the day and evening.
Dan has also tried the TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow, and while his experience hasn’t been quite as “dramatic” as mine, he has remarked that he is sleeping more comfortably and doesn’t seem to toss around as much.

I would really like this for my boyfriend. He was in a car accident a few years ago and has trouble sleeping because of back pain. We just recently bought new pillows, but he’s already searching for something better. I hate to see him in pain and wish he had something like this.
As as college student, the Tempur-Pedic pillow could allow me to get more out of my 4 hours a sleep a night!

JENN! I would love this pillow! I toss and turn all night, and recently have resulted to sleeping on the couch because I can sleep in more of an upright position which keeps me from moving so much. I would LOVE this pillow and sincerely believe I would benefit hugely from it!
From Tempurpedic, I would really love the body pillow. I LOVE sleeping with a body pillow, and I can’t even imagine what heavenly bliss could be brought about by having one that conforms and supports!

The TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow sounds so dreamy to me because for the last two years I’ve had problems with my back and neck, I know I’m too young for this but I believe this pillow would do wonders for my back and neck pains and discomfort as well as helping me sleep more sound during the night instead of waking up every few hours like I do now.

I have been telling my husband lately how much my shoulder and arm have been hurting because the one pillow I’m using just isn’t supportive enough when I lay on my side. I wake up almost every morning with a sore arm! Seeing how much bigger this pillow is, I think it will greatly help me with my problems!
It takes me around an hour to get comfortable at night and fall asleep. Alot of that is due to my pillows. I’m sure the Tempur-pedic pillow would help alleviate that.
I have Fibromyalgia so I have issues with pain, especially in my back, shoulders, and neck, and sleep. I think the TEMPUR-cloud pillow would allow me to sleep better, longer, and with much less pain.

I am glad this pillow works for you. I bought 4 (2 for myself, 2 for my b/f). We used them a month, and it made our backs and necks hurt worse. Went and bought all new pillows again! Do not like these, bu others may have better results!

OMG, this tempurpedic pillow could change my life I think… I have used their products and given them as gifts for years. But now that my spinal disease is worse, and with neck curvature, and my old temp. pillows worn out, I have had this pillow on my wishlist for a couple years. I cannot sleep more than 1 hour at a time due to bad pillows and mattress. So I totally beleive that using this pillow would help bring back health to my body and mind, after being able to get a good nights sleep!

I’ve been wanting a new, good pillow for such a long time. I’m very picky about how a pillow feels or lays and since I sleep in many different positions at night you can imagine how frustrating it is to find one that works. With this thing I may actually be able to get some real, restful sleep and stop sleeping for 10-14 hours a night in order to make up for the fact that I wake up all night long.
My pillows die so quickly because I sleep on my side/stomach but with my arm under the pillow or hugging it so they go flat! This would help with that!!

From the tempurpedic website, I would love one of there matresses, We are in desperate need of a new matress (and one that would fit our bed frame) My bf has a bad back and would love a matress it would greatly benifit us both.

I have been having an issue getting comfortable on my pillows for a while now. I am a side sleeper normally so I need something that will support my neck and head well. I would love one of these great pillows but there is no way I can afford it. I’m a college student and I work two jobs – so this pillow will do wonders for my sleep. Maybe I won’t be so exhausted anymore.
I’d like a nice tempur-pedic mattress topper because I hope that it will make my mattress more comfy.

Ahh.. How I’d long for one of these right now! What it’d do for me: Well, at the moment I bet it’d be a huge help in getting my sleeping patterns back on track! Other than that, My pillows are terrible – I usually end up resting my head on my arm instead and ending up with a stiff shoulder in the morning. I bet the Tempur pillow could give me the support I need so I can give my shoulder a break!

My husband is always stealing my pillows. I think that since this is a little bulkier and heavier, he will have a harder time doing so. Winning this would mean I would actually get an entire night’s sleep with a pillow.

What a true Blessing it would be to have a Tempur Pedic- cloud pillow! Not only do I suffer from neck and back problems, I also have Fibromyalgia, the pain, especially in my back, neck and shoulders truly makes it hard to sleep. I think the TEMPUR- Pedic cloud pillow would allow me to sleep longer and wake with less pain.
