This has been a grueling week. As I tweeted earlier, it seems like someone or something has been at me every waking moment. And maybe it’s just the PMS, but by yesterday I was a little on edge. And by this morning, I was most definitely testy. And now that it’s almost 5:00pm, I am signing off all messengers, and unless the sky is falling or your server is on fire, don’t expect a response until Monday morning dammit 1.

I started my morning at 6:30am, which was not expected, but kind of welcome at the same time. Dan inadvertently woke me up while he was getting ready for work, and by 6:47am I couldn’t fall back asleep, so I said screw it and got up. If I didn’t, I would have been restless for another 15-20 minutes, then fallen into a good sleep just in time to get up for the day. And that would have felt worse than just getting up at 6:30am. So 6:30 it was!

It’s been a productive day, though I still have two more things to do tonight:
1. go to the gym (I went out this morning and picked up three pairs of activewear pants 2
2. watch the season finale of Hell’s Kitchen season 7

You know what sucks? I’m getting sick. I’ve had that slightly “off” feeling since last night, my chest felt tight when I went to bed last night, and right now I’m feeling a bit feverish. Also sucky? My thighs and shins hurt today like I expected them to hurt yesterday morning (I was at the gym and did 30 minutes each of the elliptical and treadmill on Wednesday night). What’s up with that?

  1. Don’t get me wrong, I love my job and appreciate that there is always work, but at the same time I’d 1. like a little breathing room and 2. would appreciate it if people would remember that I am not a traditional 9-5 employee, kthnxbi
  2. one of which was a size too big, whoo!

  1. You will feel like that for awhile. Once your body gets used to it, it will stop.

Get in the shower and spray your sore muscles with water as cold as you can handle for 2 minutes, then switch to as hot as you can handle for 2 minutes. Do this for 10-14 minutes and you’ll be as good as new.
