Having been a mother now for six and a half years (seven and a half if you count my pregnancy with Alyssa), it’s about damn time I pay more attention to this particular holiday 1. While a lot of moms and marketing agencies focus on jewelry and flowers for Mother’s Day, I’m going to be highlighting several products that a lot of us everyday moms, particularly those of who love to indulge and enjoy ourselves, would love to get in honor of us spending 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year raising our adorable, lovely sproglets. Heh.

- I don’t know why I haven’t before, but it may have something to do with Dan’s refusal to acknowledge my impending motherhood during my first pregnancy with a Mother’s Day card. Yes, I am still a little hurt by that. ↩
