According to Health Central, I am 18.8 lbs away from being in my ideal weight range. That blows my damn mind when I think back to just two years ago this time, when I was over 300 lbs. This time a year ago I was right around 220 lbs. And now I’m at 175 lbs, a number I’ve been within a three digit range of for the past month. While I still have another 15-20 lbs to lose until I’m at an ideal (both ideal for me, and ideal for my health) weight, I’m quite happy right now, too. So much has changed. But besides big things, a lot of little things, too. In no particular order (as I think of them):
- Suddenly, I wish my breasts were a little bit bigger
- But at the same time, it’s nice being able to purchase bras anywhere
- I can comfortably wear halter and strapless bras without any runneth over issues
- Size XL and even L… need I say more?!
- Hello, collarbone…and rib cage and hips and pelvic bone!
- Excess seat on either side of me
- Wearing my husband’s hoodies… which are overly large on me
- Fitting comfortably into any amusement park ride — even the kid ones!
This blog entry brought to you by my current state of overtiredness & a southwest salad.

I met you at BlogHer last year and you look phenomenal. It’s really inspiring.
