It’s fun to subscribe to sites like GeekAlerts, because you never quite know what kind of goodies will pop up in your feed reader. In the case of GeekAlerts, you can expect to find things like:
- reviews of gadgets
- special promos – coupon codes, exclusive discounts and the like
- tips for cool gadgets
- info on the latest stuff out there
- coupon codes (example: Expedia coupon code, Sierra Trading Post Coupon)
With the holiday season soon coming upon us and many of consumers getting ready to Buy Gadgets, it’s good to have sites like GeekAlerts to turn to for information on what’s out there, what’s worth buying and what’s simply not worth getting all hot and bothered over. The Brain Freeze Ice Cube Tray, for example, is most definitely worth buying if there’s brainiac in your family who would appreciate that kind of humor. Or, such as in the case of my husband’s aunt and uncle, if there’s someone you know who would love this type of gag item for Halloween parties and the like.
I think my favorite feature about GeekAlerts.com would have to be the promotion codes and coupon codes. You can find coupon codes for all sorts of online stores, including Buy.com, Home Depot, Old Navy, Target, and VistaPrint. Use coupons on your gadget and non-gadget purchases so you can afford to buy more gadgets. Brilliant! ;)
