This is who I am:
That is who I will never be again:
For the last few weeks I have been buckling down on no grazing between meals, and upping my protein intake a bit more (70-80g per day instead of 60g), and the results are paying off. This morning I stepped on the scale and weighed in at the lowest weight I’ve been since I was ten or eleven years old: 171 lbs. That’s 160 lbs of me gone, forever. That puts me just a mere 11 lbs away from my goal of 160 lbs. Once upon a time I had over 150 lbs to lose. Amazing.
I consider November 18th, 2009 (the date I had gastric bypass surgery) to be my second “birthday” , the first day of my life, my new me – is that lame?
P.S. A HUGE congratulations to Krystal, who had gastric bypass surgery today. I’m so proud of you, and happy for you. You’ll do great. Welcome to your new life. ♥

Congratulations!!!! You rock and you are an inspiration to never give up.
It is never too late to be the person you might have been!
tears were fallnig as I read this. But I am happy for you two. :’)
STOP THE tears love
You look beautiful either way Jenn. I am happy you have accomplished your goals. You look amazing.
Congrats. It still is so amazing to me how different you look – I mean you can still see YOU in both the old and new – but yet so different at the same time. It just amazes me in general how much weight and fat can change the appearance of someone and how different someone looks after they lose it all. It’s motivating. I really need to get my butt into gear!
I love the way that you look! The way you look now with the weight, is the weight that I am wanting to be at :’(
I am always up for advice and suggestions, that is by far. If you could e-mail me or something i’d love that.
I remember reading the blog you posted when that first “then” picture was taken. You’ve come so far! Congrats!
Words cannot explain how happy I am for both you, and Krystal. You guys will/look like completely different people. Congrats you guys.
I just can’t believe that is you up there… and how amazing of a change you’ve experienced. I am extremely happy for you.
Ps. I actually have a very similar sweater, which I bought from Wet Seal, although it’s in short sleeve, and not as vibrant, I really ilke it. I believe they may even sell your size.
You’ve come a long way, and you look great! Congrats on being so close to your goal weight!!!
I am completely in awe of your transformation. I can’t wait for mine. But I didn’t really take like full body shots. I was too embarrassed. I think i’ll start at week one and do it from there. I am so proud of you and I can’t wait to get my journey in full swing. I can’t imagine eating at this point lol. Its hard to even drink. love you girl.
