First I break my foot sometime during the last weekend of September. Then, last Saturday, I managed to yank open our freezer drawer over the top of my right foot’s exposed toes, cracking my big toe’s nail vertically a good third of an inch. And in my seemingly never-ending quest to render my feet useless, this morning I managed to drop Jason’s crockpot, base and pot and lid and all, on my left foot, bashing that sensitive protruding ankle bone. I also broke the effing crockpot (sorry Jason! I promise I’ll replace it). Am I on a roll or what?

I’m wincing just from reading this. Be more careful woman.
AWE! I’m sending good vibes your way so you heal quickly and you have better luck.

Ouch! Feel better!
Ouch! Be careful!
Yeesh, hope your feet feel better soon! For some reason it makes me think of something we learned in French class, “casser les pieds”. It means literally “breaking the feet”, it means to be annoyed or bored. So… maybe you’re annoyed or bored?
Ah, I recognize this–you’re having a classic “Clumsy Week.” I have one about every three weeks….oh, who am I kidding, every week is Clumsy Week at my house. The amount of spilled, dropped, crushed, and otherwise damaged items I go through… XD
Though I will say, the only thing that has helped me stop hurting my own feet from stubbed toes, horribly broken toenails, dropped objects, etc., has been to wear protective shoes in the house. This way, if I decide to attack the wall with my foot, I don’t feel it as much. (LOL, clumsiness coping strategies.)
