Tomorrow is my endoscopy and colonoscopy. I had my last food last night, in the form of a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup that Dan brought me around 11:30 (thanks darling! *mwah*), and I stopped my bajillion vitamins yesterday morning. I went to bed late last night and was up earlier than anticipated this morning, so it’s no surprise that the lack of vitamins, lack of food and lack of sufficient sleep, combined with overcast weather, have me feeling like total crap. I don’t know how I’ve managed to plod through and write up some reviews on things like bridal shower invitations, cleaning products, and jewelry, but I have. Gold star for Jenn!
My breakfast/snack/lunch/snack/dinner have consisted of water (including 16oz of water mixed with a crap ton of Miralax, which chased down two Dulcolax), along with a few ounces of chicken soup broth strained from a can of condensed chicken noodle soup. Exciting, I know. It’s weird. I don’t feel physically hungry, but I am definitely craving everything in sight. Hell, at this point cheese and crackers even sounds awesome. ;) But more importantly, I don’t like going this long without any protein. Or vitamins. Blah. It doesn’t take a post-op gastric bypass patient long to get rundown if they don’t have enough protein or vitamins.
In any case, my appointment tomorrow morning is at 10:45am, though I have to be there at 10. Both Dan and Jason are taking me, and they’ve promised to drag me home afterwards, stuff me with protein and vitamins, and then put me to bed so I can sleep off the sedation.

I hope the doctors can pinpoint the problem and this day of feeling shitty is worth it. Ugh. Hope you have a quick process tomorrow and can get home and rest as needed.

I hope everything goes well tomorrow and they finally figure out what the problem is and how to correct it.
