1.What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?
I did quite a few things, actually. I became a foster mother. I jumped off of an insanely high diving board. I broke my foot. I had exploratory laparoscopic surgery.
2.Did you keep your new years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yes, I did! I lost 30 lbs. And overall I did a great job at taking my vitamins daily and keeping up with my daily protein requirements. Also, while I didn’t dabble in photography as much as I wanted to, I did do more than I did in 2010. So goals = accomplished.

No.
4.Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5.What countries did you visit?
None.

Better time management and work productivity. Also, a higher balance in our savings account.
7.What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
June 4th because of family drama, July 25th because of my brother coming to live with us, and November 23rd because of surgery. Bah.
8.What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Honestly, I don’t know. Each year brings its own achievements and failures, but I can’t say that any particular achievement stands out this year.
9.What was your biggest failure?
See above.

Aside from my ongoing abdominal woes, and my broken foot, no.

Dan – the man is a damn saint.

14.Where did most of your money go?
Bills, where else?
15.What events did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going to the beach, meeting Amanda at her daughter’s birthday party (and then having several playdates/meet-ups throughout the summer and fall); and meeting Brandy, Dan, and Krystal; Alyssa starting first grade and Ryan starting kindergarten (partly because they’re now in full-day school, which gives me eight blissful interruption-free hours a day to work during); the Maroon 5 concert Dan took me to; and Christmas!

LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem”.

Less stress, more sleep, and another ten pounds lost.

Colorful, as always.
