On November 18th, 2009 I had gastric bypass surgery. It was the best gift I could ever give myself.

Current weight: 162.5

Start: 331 lbs. Goal: 160 lbs.

Thirty-four minutes from now it’ll be 2012. Thirty-three minutes from now the kids and I will pile up on the couch to watch the ball drop. And thirty-five minutes from now Dan and I will be shepherding Alyssa and Ryan off to bed, crating the dog, turning off the lights, then heading to bed so we can ring in the new year like we always do. ♥
