Moppy comes from Natural House Products, a line of products specifically formulated with probiotics and natural ingredients, and without harsh chemicals. Moppy is a floor washing/scrubbing product that is packed into tablet form, much like dishwasher tablets – except that instead of putting a Moppy tablet into your dishwasher, you put it into your mop bucket, or in my case, in the water bottle that slides into the top of my mop (I use a Rubbermaid Ready Mop). Once it hits the water, the concentrated packet releases its floor-cleaning action, powered by probiotics and cleaning and scrubbing agents that are derived from plants. Moppy is also designed so that even after cleaning, probiotics remain behind to help cut down on germs and odors. Moppy is designed for use on many hard surfaces, including laminate, vinyl, tile, marble, slate, hardwood, and high-gloss surfaces.
I have been using Moppy for my kitchen and bathroom floors (laminate), and entryway area (tile & grout) since early May, and I absolutely love the product. Moppy does an excellent job of cleaning my floors and leaving them feeling fresh and clean, without any of the residual “stick” that some of the other floor cleansers I have used with my mop sometimes leave behind. Also, some of the store-bought cleansers I’ve used in the past have clogged up the water bottle for my Rubbermaid Ready Mop – one thing I noticed about Moppy is that it does not do this. Since switching to using Moppy with my mop, my mop works perfectly with every single squeeze of the spray-release handle. Moppy’s scent is very light – barely noticeable, which is just fine by me.
Whether you want to use natural products for the sake of your children and pets, or just because you want to try the alternatives to see what all of the fuss is about, Moppy is definitely well worth the purchase. You can get a one month supply from Natural House Products for just $4.99.
