You know what sucks? Collection harassment. We’ve dealt with a bit of it in the past, and I heard horror stories from my mother and my grandparents about the intimidating phone calls and threatening letters they were recipients of; and there are plenty of personal accounts of harassment via collection agencies in magazines, Dear Abby type letters about stop collection harassment California in newspapers, and of course, online. But here’s the thing: even if you have a legitimate debt that needs to be paid back in full, you have the right to a life that is free of collection harassment. Debt collectors are supposed to know the laws, and they are supposed to follow them. Whether they don’t follow the laws because they don’t know them, or because they don’t want to, makes no difference. You, as a consumer, even an indebted one, have rights, and collection agencies need to respect that.

So, how do you stop collection harassment for good? Well, you can start by visiting MyConsumerLawCenter.com. MyConsumerLawCenter.com is the website belonging to Shainfeld & Anvar, consumer law attorneys who have offices in California, Illinois, Nevada, New York, and Virginia. They provide you with information and resources to help you deal with collection agency harassment. And, as attorneys, they can evaluate your situation and help you resolve your debt collection harassment once and for all. For more information, visit MyConsumerLawCenter.com.

Why is it so hard to find casual, comfortable, adorable clothing for little boys? So many retail stores and department stores are guilty of carrying dark or primary colors, and annoying and obnoxious character-themed items. I have never been one for dark colors only, or Spongebob sweatsuits, or Disney t-shirts and shorts. The only character clothing you’ll find in Ryan’s drawers are a few Mario shirts, and one Angry Birds t-shirt that he got as a stocking stuffer. In terms of colors, Ryan has everything from white to pastel to lightly-striped polos to a few darker items. I try really hard to give him a varied wardrobe that isn’t limited to dark or bold colors only.

So imagine my delight when I discovered TeaCollection.com. The site has a great collection of boys clothing. They have everything from adorable little caps to rocker-style jeans to casual flannel shirts. They have everyday clothing items, as well as outfits that are great for holidays and special occasions. And their sizes go up to 12, so you’ll be able to outfit your little guy for quite a while! Check them out at TeaCollection.com.

Both bathrooms are almost complete. The master bathroom and secondary bathroom both have new paint (a lovely nautical shade of grayish-blue), new towels, and crown moulding. But we’re still missing two key elements: baseboards, and new sinks. Well, I don’t mind the current sinks, but I do mind the rose/salmon pink color of the vanity counter top that is surrounding them. Blech! The color worked nicely enough when the walls were an annoying shimmery pink/peach color, but now that the hideous wallpaper has been painted over, the pink towels replaced with light grayish-aqua ones, and a white/blue shower curtain hung in the master bathroom, we really need to get those sinks replaced.

I have seen some great deals on vessel sinks, but I’m not sure if that’s the look I want. Generally a vessel sink is rather fancy and elegant looking, and while our bathrooms are nice looking, they don’t have, nor will they ever have, that “ornate” look to them, if you know what I mean. But a vessel faucet isn’t something I’ll rule out entirely, because you never know, I may come across one that I like.

I’m not sure where on the to-do list new bathroom sinks/faucets/stands come in, but I do think I want to get a new microwave (an over-the-range style) first, so that I can have more counter space in the kitchen. I’m in the kitchen a lot more often than I am in a bathroom, so I think the kitchen will ultimately win out!

JustAddressPlaques.com is your go-to source for address plaques. At first glance you may think an address plaque is an unnecessary, perhaps even an extravagent expenditure. But really, many address plaques are simplistic in design, and are perfect – and appropriate – for residential use. How many times have you been the recipient of public service announcements or outright warnings from local fire companies, beseeching you to make sure that your house address is clearly visible? Have you actually heeded those warnings? No? Then now’s the time to visit JustAddressPlaques.com to view their selection of residential address plaques. Don’t rely on the small numbers painted on your mail box or hanging on your front door to provide enough visibility!

Businesses can take advantage of JustAddressPlaques.com, too. They offer many custom address plaques, choose from bronze address plaques as well as many other traditional and contemporary styles. You can take a look at their extensive gallery to get a general idea of what most address plaques look like; you can then decide what information, besides your house number, building number, or suite number, to include: ideas include your last name, business name, or even street name.
