{Product review} Infinity LED Ultra Series LED Light Bulbs

A few years back Dan and I upgraded from standard incandescent light bulbs (though I confess they’re what we use for fish tank, night light, and lava lamp lighting) to CFL bulbs. I wasn’t a fan of CFL bulbs at first, simply because they were initially only available in cool white, and I’m a fan of warm white. But once the warm white CFL bulbs made their appearance in stores, I was all for them. Now, I’m all for LED light bulbs. Thanks to CableOrganizer.com, your online go-to source for wire management, I had the opportunity to replace the CFL light bulbs in our living room couch-side lamps with Infinity LED Ultra Series LED Light Bulbs.

Infinity LED Ultra Series LED Light Bulbs are available in two wattages, 3W (equivalent to a 40W light bulb), and 4W (equivalent to 60W), and in cool white (blue-toned white light) and warm white (yellow-toned white light). While they’re currently $15.75 (3W) /$18.75 (4W) apiece, they provide, on average, 35,000+ hours of continuous usage, while using only 7 or so percent of the energy required to power a standard incandescent bulb. The result? A seemingly pricey bulb that pays for itself in no time. Bonus: it’s not sensitive to shaking, it doesn’t heat up like standard bulbs do (so they’re easier/safer to handle), and 88 small, evenly-placed LED lights provide a steady, consistent glow of light.

{Product review} Tiny Prints for Valentine’s Day

Can you believe Valentine’s Day is just a little over two weeks away? For once I’m ready, at least in terms of little goody bags for Alyssa and Ryan, and I already have picked out the gift I’m going to give Dan. Tiny Prints is ready, too – in fact, they have plenty of Valentine cards to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a card for him, a card for her, a card for your child, or a card that is just plain romantic, sentimental, or funny, Tiny Prints has what you need. Here are a few of my favorites:

Valentine’s Day isn’t a huge holiday for us, but since it’s a romantic one, Dan and I do celebrate it, though in a low-key fashion. We usually exchange cards and gifts, and go out somewhere for dinner, and finish off our Valentine’s Day with a night to remember. ♥ And now that Alyssa and Ryan are older, they’re included in the love & fun, too! Alyssa and Ryan have already picked out the Valentine’s Day cards they’ll be giving to their classmates, and as I mentioned earlier in this post, I have adorable little goody bags to give to Alyssa and Ryan on Valentine’s Day.

{Product review} Zippies

Oh my gosh, Zippies.Are these cute or what?! Zippies are little keychain doo-hickies that you can hang from zippers, not only for the cuteness factor, or the identifying factor if your child and another child have identical coats or backpacks, but also to provide any adult who may find your child if he/she should become lost (god forbid), with contact info. You don’t write your child’s name on a Zippie (I would never recommend that, especially since it’s hanging in such a visible place), instead, you write your name and your telephone number on the back of the Zippie. Cute, and functional.

Zippies have been hanging on Alyssa’s backpack, Ryan’s backpack, their lunch bags, and their water bottles for several months now, and they’re still hanging on, just as brightly-colored and cute as ever. Hopefully they’ll never have to be used for more than a cute adornment.

Thanks to CandlesandFavors.com and their custom birthday invitations and party favors, Alyssa’s party was really pretty and creative – just like her! This year’s theme was Littlest Pet Shop, but the invitations that went out featured an adorable little wand-wielding fairy princess, as did the awesome candy bar wrappers that we wrapped around chocolate bars and passed out as party favors.

I loved the convenience of having all of the necessary birthday party information pre-written on the invitations (and I was able to customize the text to my liking), and Alyssa loved the uniqueness of having her birthday party information displayed on her party favors. I’d say our guests liked both the invitations and the party favors – and especially the yummy chocolate inside! Many thanks to CandlesandFavors.com for helping us have such a great birthday party for my daughter’s seventh birthday (even if the party was delayed a week due to it snowing on October 29th!).

Tungsten Rings Online sent me the Tungsten Dome Step Down Wedding Ring, which is a mens 6mm ring made out of pure tungsten. While it is fashioned and advertised as a wedding band, this is a simplistically-styled ring that could be worn by a man or a woman for any occasion. I wear it on my right middle finger, which is preferable for me since it doesn’t detract from my wedding band or engagement ring. The ring is simply gorgeous – just as described and pictured on the product page. Tungsten Rings Online shipped the ring quickly, so it wasn’t long after I picked it out that I had it on my finger.

I would definitely recommend Tungsten Rings Online if you’re in the market for titanium or tungsten rings. A generous product selection, high quality products, resizing and engraving options, fast shipping, and great customer service – what more could you ask for?
