Blueboy
Blueboy is en eleven year old purebred bi-color Persian cat. He was originally my grandmother’s cat, given to her as a birthday present from my mother in the fall of 2000. As my grandmother’s health began to decline, Blueboy went to my mother, and in August of 2004, came to me. He has been with us ever since. He is regal and dignified, and finds it beneath himself to do such menial things like running, playing, or even acknowledging the presence of others. He spends most of the time decorating our furniture.
Kirin
Kirin is a five year old Siamese mix. He was my gift to Dan on our second wedding anniversary (October 1st, 2006). He’s sweet, if a little temperamental and a bit of a ditz, and enjoys being with us. He also drools when he is excited.
Max
Max is a four year old purebred gray Persian cat. He belonged to my mother, but because she was unable to handle his frequent grooming needs, I adopted him into our small menagerie in March of 2009. He is very vocal and quite sweet, and loves to lick. He is also Fritzy’s half-brother!
Fritzy
Fritzy is a four year old purebred shaded silver Persian cat. He also belonged to my mother, but I took him off of her hands in June of 2009. He is Simon’s brother — Simon is now residing with my brothers-in-law and their fiances. Fritzy always looks a bit surprised, but is a total sweetheart. He prefers Alyssa over the rest of us, and she’s quite happy to have a cat of her own.
Minerva
Minerva is a three month old tabby cat. She came from a litter of kittens whose mother my sister-in-law took in. What’s cool about Minerva is that each of Dan’s brothers and sisters have one of her litter mates!
