Product review: Milk made velveteen hand creme

Milk made velveteen hand creme Winter is here, and while I love and crave lotion all year round, I especially crave it in winter, when the combination of cold, dry air outside; warm, dry air inside; frequent hand washing and dish washing all lead to dry, sometimes lightly chapped, hands. Recently EdenFantasys has been adding a lot of bath and beauty products, and I promptly ordered the Milk made velveteen hand creme as soon as I saw it in stock. I’ve heard great things about Cake Beauty brand, and what I initially liked about the description of Milk made velveteen hand creme is that it’s made to provide nutrients and much-needed moisture to hands.

As the product description advises, while Milk made velveteen hand creme may be a little on the pricey side ($17.99 for a 3.4oz bottle), a little goes a long way. I have been using the hand creme several times a day over the past week, and I haven’t noticed much of a difference in the weight and feel of the bottle because of how little is needed to thoroughly moisturize my hands. What I have noticed is how much softer and smoother my hands feel. The scent of the hand creme — light, not too strong or cloying; or sickly sweet as I unfortunately find Cake Beauty’s cake-scented lotions to be — is absolutely perfect. It doesn’t contrast or even add to any other scent I may be wearing, from perfume or lotion.

If you crave moisture and softness for your hands (or feet – I lather mine up and then put on dryer-warmed socks to help keep my feet soft and smooth, too), then you’ll definitely want to order some Milk made velveteen hand creme for yourself. You can purchase it at EdenFantasys for $17.99 – and make sure to use coupon code ES2 to save 15% on your purchase!

Oh, Ryan.

Not long after Ryan was born (literally – much later that same day), I noticed that Ryan had a tiny, absolutely adorable swirl of hair on his head. I was immediately enthralled with it.

Since his hair has gotten longer and has been cut many times since he was born, the swirl isn’t quite as noticeable anymore – in fact, I think only Dan and I are really aware of it being there! But I can contend myself instead with Ryan’s adorable waves and curls (and outright ringlets when his hair is wet) instead! Ryan is insistent that he wants to grow his hair long (it hasn’t been cut since last May), and I am not-so-secretly all for it. He looks really cute with his hair super-short (think buzz cut), but there’s something about his longer, slightly sandyish-colored hair combined with his bright blue eyes and smattering of freckles across his nose and cheekbones that really melts me. ♥

JustAddressPlaques.com

JustAddressPlaques.com is your go-to source for address plaques. At first glance you may think an address plaque is an unnecessary, perhaps even an extravagent expenditure. But really, many address plaques are simplistic in design, and are perfect – and appropriate – for residential use. How many times have you been the recipient of public service announcements or outright warnings from local fire companies, beseeching you to make sure that your house address is clearly visible? Have you actually heeded those warnings? No? Then now’s the time to visit JustAddressPlaques.com to view their selection of residential address plaques. Don’t rely on the small numbers painted on your mail box or hanging on your front door to provide enough visibility!

Businesses can take advantage of JustAddressPlaques.com, too. They offer many custom address plaques, choose from bronze address plaques as well as many other traditional and contemporary styles. You can take a look at their extensive gallery to get a general idea of what most address plaques look like; you can then decide what information, besides your house number, building number, or suite number, to include: ideas include your last name, business name, or even street name.

For more information, visit JustAddressPlaques.com.

2012: One word.

A lot of bloggers have posted one word to describe their overall goal for 2012. I wanted to be one of the cool kids and post mine on the 1st, but I just couldn’t think of a word. But after getting through the first week of 2012 unscathed, just following my normal, everyday routine, and taking care of other things here and there, I have finally decided on a word, and I think it perfectly sums up my goals for the year, as well as what I wake up thinking about every morning:

Accomplish

Accomplish. That’s all I want to do each day. Nothing more, nothing less.
